I See You

Was composing my shot and just as I hit the shutter button he spotted me. He seemed to be engaged in a good conversation with two other girls and it was nice to catch a genuine smile as he was looking at the camera. Shot with a Sony Nex7 w/ Voigtlander Heliar 75mm f1.8 @ f4

Untitled 2

I know I slightly missed focus on this photo, and normally I would have discarded it, but I couldn’t this time. There was something I like about it.

Vinny's Nut House

Shot this image while on vacation in New York City in November 2011. Was walking by this street vendor in Little Italy and had to take this photo. God I love New York. Can’t wait to go back.

Untitled 1

Saw this guy walking towards me and decided to angle the camera, pre-focus, and let him walk into frame. Luckily I managed to focus correctly and end up with a pretty interesting fashion style photo. I love his jacket.

Dumplings Part 2

I was walking by the dumpling restaurant again and saw one of the ladies from before rolling the dough for her dumplings. I took this shot using the Sony Nex7 and Voigtlander 50mm f1.1 @f1.1.

Dumplings Part 1

This is one of the first images I took with the Sony Zeiss 24mm f1.8 lens. I was walking through China town, in Toronto, when these two women were prepping dumplings. I just had to take the photo.

A Quick Look

Caught this guy leaving a diner right next to a barber shop at the corner of Bay and Dundas in Toronto. There was something about his suit and his presence that caught my eye and I just had to take the shot. Slightly cropped from the original photo.

Breakfast

Shot this on the weekend during a 1-on-1 training session with Peter (Prosophos). This wonderful couple were kind enough to let us photograph them during their morning breakfast.
