Travelogue: Iceland Day 2

It’s taken me over a week to get this out so apologies. It’s been crazy with work and travel. Day 2 takes me east bound. From Reykjavik through Vik and around the outlying areas. Have a listen and if you enjoy it feel free to comment or like this post. Don’t forget to click on the image above to bring up the gallery for the day. TW -Dominic

Why we do, What we do

Here I was… the middle of spring and the beginning of Vikings filming. Here we were in the fourth season of the show and finally getting hit with true Irish weather. Mud that was ankle deep and torrential rain over the course of two days. We were on the last scene of the day, the rain finally stopped and gave way to this gorgeous sunset. The warm glow of light pouring through the artificial mist, warming the crew and cast.

It was also the first time I started experimenting with muted colours and

Mr. Incognito

I remember the day being very warm. Stifling at times. As I was walking down the street this gentleman was heading towards me. Brimmed hat and a light jacket. How he wasn’t boiling is beyond me but it was an image I had to capture. Glad I did. Paris, France (May 2015) Leica M7 + Leica 28mm Summicron-M + Kodak T-Max 400
