Only on Broadway

I don’t normally take pictures of street performers. Don’t know if wandering around with a snake and having people place it on their shoulders counts as being a performer but sure why not. Everyone there had their jaws slack watching this snake wrap around the guys neck and I kept wondering whether or not he’ll be able to get it off his neck afterwards. Dutched Watermelon

I watched the couple after I snapped this photo wondering if the watermelon belonged to them. I gave up after a few minutes but they never touched it or looked at it. What was this watermelon, wrapped, doing there lopsided on the garbage can. Meh! Dublin, Ireland (June 2014) Leica M7 + Voigtlander Ultron 28mm f/2 + Ilford XP2 400

BUT I like the fact that he’s completely smeared. When I look at his face

I was reluctant at first as it’s a resort town and I wanted to spend any free time I had in a

Light Leaks

These things happen! and I’ve had this happen a couple of times in the past. Once when I was in Cuba I forgot to re-wind the film before opening the bottom of the camera, and the other in Dublin. These are some of the issues we deal with as film photographers. Screwing up our shots just as we finished shooting a roll, and more than likely loosing some good shots in the process. But none of this bothers me. I

Rob Ford Protest

I shot these images about a month ago during the height of the Rob Ford scandal. 250 protester’s came out during their lunch hour to speak their mind and attempt to have Rob Ford listen to reason and step down. Unfortunately, as some protests go, most of the people their had different agendas and factions of people were protesting issues other than the one at hand. Regardless I’m pretty happy with the results. As always feel free to comment below.
